Empowerment to me means believing in myself and continuing to move forward even when things get difficult. It means having confidence in my abilities and not letting challenges stop me from reaching my goals. I have learned that empowerment is not about everything going perfectly. Instead, it is about how you respond when things do not go the way you planned. My experiences in gymnastics, band, and school have helped me understand what empowerment truly means.

Empowerment to me means having the strength, confidence, and guidance to grow into the person you are meant to be. Throughout my life, several women have helped me understand what empowerment truly means. Each of them influenced me in different ways through their support, advice, and the examples they set. The lessons they taught me helped shape who I am and the woman I am becoming. The five women in my life have each shown me different parts of empowerment, from faith and perseverance to confidence and leadership.

A life without empowerment is a poor life. If I had to challenge everyone to do something, I would tell them to make a change in someone's life every day. This could be helping a classmate with a problem or giving a random person a compliment. I hope that I have changed another’s life for the better at least once today.

If God is for me, who can be against me? My relationship with God is my greatest source of empowerment. Through reading the Bible for myself, I’ve discovered my value as someone Jesus loved enough to die for. He is always with me and I can do all things through His strength. I hope to pass on the confidence and wisdom I have gained while being an embodiment of the love of God to everyone.
